My grandma always said,
“I’ve got two feet on the ground,
“I can do anything anyone can do.”
She barely stood five feet
though she claimed five-two.

There’s an ebb and flow,
a give and take.
Sometimes your heart is full,
sometimes it breaks
and so you hold on.
We are all soldiers
fighting, fighting in the night
with war comes scars and
some are visible while others
are hidden from sight.
So, life got hard,
It is just not that easy.
Sunshine and roses,
It will not always be.

This has been one of the most profound talks I’ve ever heard. So, to kick off this new category (Spiritual Sustenance) I could think of nothing better to start with. I hope you enjoy the talk and also the video done as a summary of his talk. Personally, I love both.
When you look at your day
and you see only dark –
You want to find some hope
but you no longer trust your heart.
Mountain,
By your appearance
you deceive.
“I can climb this I
do believe,”
I said then started
on my way.
A new adage I’m starting. I hope it catches on.

Be as indestructible as a Pringles’ individual cup.

A little dented but the shape still holds. Whatever life throws at us, be like a Pringles' cup! Remember the old Rolex slogan? This could be: Takes a beatin' so you can keep on eatin'! Maybe? Perhaps.
