I. The Call
My phone buzzed on the nightstand.
I have it set to DO NOT DISTURB between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am every night to eliminate telemarketer and occasional drunk caller rudeness. If this call was getting through at 1:00am it indicated a second call within three minutes. This was a deliberate attempt to reach me. Not a good sign. Continue reading

It came from watching a little girl play on the playground equipment while waiting for her family attending the vigil.

You can tell them a fabricated story but if you say it with confidence (take out hedge words and sounds) people will believe; if you walk with confidence people will follow (right off a cliff perhaps). Knowledge is not the key, confidence is. Photo taken in southwest Wyoming.

Again, for those in the cheap seats, UNITY is the goal. Married couples are on the same team working for the same purpose. One spouse is not a coach or general manager but a team member. While members of a team may perform different functions, all are important to contributing to a winning team.

As a pseudo-writer, I often ponder on the wonderful use of language to communicate. This is the year 2020 and we have come a long way to learn how to communicate more effectively. Let’s take a short look at our advancement as a species, shall we?
