General Conference thoughts: Holiness and the Plan of Happiness

There’s that word again: happiness. Have you noticed how many talks have been devoted to the topic of finding or having happiness and joy? Even in our day when all things are in commotion? It is possible and it can happen for each of us. That is the important thing to remember.

Since the pursuit of happiness is directly tied to our holiness it might benefit a class to work together to help each other. Allow time for the class to look through their scriptures and conference notes (the topical guide is a handy resource for non-scriptorians) and compile a list of verses and quotes that help them personally to find peace and happiness. Then discuss together their findings. Encourage them to write the verses and quotes down so that they can refer to them outside of class.
