Poor Pumbaa

Grandma brought home a treat

a big old pig for her family to meet.

Pumbaa is what he came to be known

but this Pumbaa was alone without Timon.

So the grandkids welcomed him with love

their attention would surely be enough.

For years Pumbaa knew where his place was at

meanwhile he grew big and fat.

One Easter grandma cooked up a treat

a delicious meal for her family to eat.

While supper they were dishing

they noticed Pumbaa missing

he no longer came at their call.

Appetite was lost by all

when they realized that delicious aroma

came from none other than their beloved Pumbaa.

Grandma’s treat messed up everything –

Easter, ham, and the Lion King.
