For over three years now, I’ve made it a point to attend the temple once a month. The nearest one is 100 miles away so to do so usually takes most of a Saturday a month. Now, I love my Saturdays. They are precious to me. But attending the temple has become part of my routine.
I have the frequency currently down and now I’m trying to increase my purpose. My family history has been done or is currently being worked on 3 out of 4 of my lines. There’s not much left for me to do except to find some missed work here and there.
But one line is at a stopping point. I cannot move past it. I even spent a few hours at the Family History Library in Salt Lake – you know, THE Family History Library. If anything, I may have taken a step backwards after that trip.
In the meantime, I figure I can index. My theory is, if I help with the indexing then maybe somebody out there will index the right or the needed Louisiana records I’m looking for. Basically, if I help you maybe you can help me approach.
All this effort is to increase my purpose in the temple.
