Thanksgiving Day 2014

Let us gather together

as long as we are able

so throw a log on the fire

while we sit ‘round the table

Laughter will be sought after

as we tell our tales of the past

we will eat the grand feast

and try to make the day last

We are happy for good company

and miss those who are not part

but the memories we share

keep them warm in our heart

Thankful for good food

Grateful for pleasant company

Appreciate the lovely shelter

Welcome the warm memory

So let us gather together

as long as we are able

throw another log on the fire

while we sit around the table.
