I’d rather not work today
So I don’t think I will go.
Spring finally made its way
I’m gonna pull a no-show.
It’s gotta be some kinda crime
To work on a day like this.
I am needing some “me time”
Because I don’t wanna miss.

Every heart
Should be broken once in life
because it
beats stronger after some strife.
After all,
the hope of Spring’s new breath
comes after
the gloom of winter’s death.
Went to lunch the other day

Had to hurry on my way

A copper was waitin’ for me

I am not an early bird
By now, I ain’t ever gonna be.
To all you sunrise viewers
I assure you, I ain’t lazy!
My secret wish
Is to enjoy many a sunrise.
But it’s kinda hard
When you can’t even open your eyes.
Today –
Two opposing forces are equal. The battle between light and dark breaks even.
Today –
I can breathe. The suffocating bleakness has lifted.
i feel like
i have not seen you
in forever,
or at least a lifetime,
or at least a year.
