I am not an early bird
By now, I ain’t ever gonna be.
To all you sunrise viewers
I assure you, I ain’t lazy!
My secret wish
Is to enjoy many a sunrise.
But it’s kinda hard
When you can’t even open your eyes.
Today –
Two opposing forces are equal. The battle between light and dark breaks even.
Today –
I can breathe. The suffocating bleakness has lifted.
I’d lament about
Daylight Saving Time
But I’m too tired
To think of a witty rhyme.
All week long
My days have been a bit hazy
i feel like
i have not seen you
in forever,
or at least a lifetime,
or at least a year.

The silliest word I ever heard is kerfuffle.
