Here I am
just a little red Chevy
trying to navigate
but it’s not easy.
I looked in the mirror this morning and saw a Chia Pet staring back.
“Time for a haircut,” I thought to myself as I tried my best to make my locks cooperate. As always, they chose not to.
Actually my hair did pretty good considering the fact I should have gotten it cut a month ago. And by pretty good I really mean I chose to ignore its attention seeking behavior. However, after its flagrant display this morning I could not ignore it any longer.
This world is filled with imperfection –
it is hard to know what to do.
Everybody could use a hero –
someone to look up to.
Remember on my road trip when I learned how easy it is to make a YouTube video? No?
Well, it is extremely easy.
Doesn’t mean I should or that it is any good.
Won’t you join me as I go through my Spam folder?

Positive.
What? No, that can’t be right!
I brought out the dreaded stick with that life changing + and tears filled my eyes. I looked at my mom and whispered it’s positive.
I saw you sitting there
and it just ain’t fair.
The museum must have lost a piece of art
when you walked out and stole my heart.
So…
I should walk right over
It would start our forever
We could be together
I just bet.
Instead I have this regret –
I shoulda,
woulda,
coulda…
but didn’t.

Yep, it’s Wednesday, aka hump day. I’m aware it’s more like a Tuesday because of the holiday on Monday but according to the calendar it’s still Wednesday. And, as anyone who took Monday off can tell you, these short weeks feel LONGER than normal weeks.
So, if you’re like me, you’re counting down until Friday. And it feels so far away still.
Here’s my attempt to brighten your week by sharing a few things that make me giggle. Hope it helps!
BBT is pretty reliable on making me laugh.
How about a classic?
How can you not laugh when the Pillsbury Dough Boy gives his last guffaw?
These are just the ones I could find. What helps you get through the week?
I know how much
you like to control things.
I see your forte
is clipping others’ wings.
Living by a cemetery can be adventurous. Even if some of the adventures exist only inside my head.
Walking around the cemetery is just under 1.5 miles. It’s a nice walk and gives me time to think. Sometimes overthink.
