Take heart in this trial you are going through.  It is not easy.  It may feel like it will break you in a million pieces.  And to be honest, maybe it will.  But close your eyes and take a deep breath.  With this adversity you have been given an opportunity to experience the Atonement of Jesus Christ in a new light.

You can open a new door.  Explore a new room.  Discover a new depth.  As you pass through this you can become more familiar with the Atonement of Christ than you ever have before.  You will gain an understanding that you will not be able to gain in any other way.

Is it comfortable? No.  But it will be worth it if you focus on Christ.  So, take heart.  You will come out of this dark tunnel a better person.
