My first thought while listening to this talk was ‘is this just another form of faith, hope, charity?’ Perhaps it is but it is in our language today. In other words, it’s to our understanding.
As I listened to it I thought of Elder Bednar’s talk from earlier in the conference and how there is a symbiosis between belief and action. Both are required in order to be a disciple of Christ. I guess you could say, if you’re going to talk the talk you better walk the walk.
It reminded me of a poem I wrote a few years ago after watching a spring session of conference. You can know the answers put do you have enough trust to do the do? The nice thing is, we get to practice at it. This life is merely a practice time for us to do the best we can.
