by Elder Dallin H. Oaks
Continuing with one of the prominent themes of conference (at least for me anyway), Elder Oaks ties in the Plan of Salvation with the knowledge of God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.
The focus seemed to emphasize the Plan of Salvation in our beliefs. Or why the Plan is important. Or how the Plan affects me.
I am so thankful for my knowledge of a Heavenly Father that is loving and kind. Who pulls for me to win. One who wants me to succeed. A Father that gave everything He could – even His own Son – so that I could return to Him. That makes it easy to pray to a wise, loving Father figure instead of a stern, harsh figure.
I am also thankful for this opportunity to learn more about the Godhead and how each one plays a role in my life.
