Understanding the why behind what we do is so important. If we want to avoid burn-out or we want to be able to endure to the end we need to know the why.
“One key principle comes from Alma: “Therefore God gave unto them commandments, after having made known unto them the plan of redemption.”
“It is interesting to note the sequence in the teaching process. Our Heavenly Father first taught Adam and Eve the plan of redemption, and then He gave them commandments.”
Once we understand the why then everything falls into place. Everything including trials, death, and sacrifices. If we don’t understand the why we tend to let go and follow a different route.
