This may seem like an odd choice to include in a section about favorite conference talks.  It is, after all, just the welcome.

This is the final conference my mom was able to hear.  She passed away two months later.  But she was able to hear the announcement that a temple of the Lord would be built in Wyoming.  For that, I am grateful.  And that’s why this particular welcome message holds a special place in my heart.
