Last month, my sister NJ challenged me on Facebook to do one of those “… a day” posts. You know, when you are supposed to post something daily regarding a certain theme. For this one, my task was to list three things a day I’m grateful for. Even though I tend to be on FB daily (shhh), I don’t like having to come up with something theme related every day. So, I did it in one big chunk. And since it fit with this week’s theme and since I have nothing else ready for today, I’m sharing it here with you also. Like the idea and want to do your own list? Go right ahead.

so throw a log on the fire
while we sit ‘round the table

Receiving a Testimony of Light and Truth
By Dieter F. Uchtdorf
We have a responsibility during our sojourn in this life. A responsibility to find and discover truth. But the task is ours and ours alone. I found this video clip on MSN. For the most part, I just like the coach’s attitude. But I also like the glimpse into another culture – the cold culture.
Brrr.
Cliche
You know those writing exercises we do to hopefully strengthen our skills? I found this one hidden in a deep, dark file. It was never meant to see the light of day. But what the heck? Here is some bad reading if you want to try and sift through it. Good luck, though, It’s not an easy read.

Only a tiny, little bee
But it is my work

Saying Thank You
Free Forever, to Act for Themselves
by D. Todd Christofferson
We have a great gift – once we realize it. Each one of us is free to act and not be acted upon. That is an important realization and once we do catch sight of it, it becomes a great blessing.
Stop Feeding My Intense Irrational Fear #2, People
This is wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong on so many levels. Don’t get me started. All I’ll say is, what were you thinking?!

It reminded me of this clip:
Between the two videos, I’m sure I’ll have some unpleasant dreams. Hopefully, I can chase some vampires or zombies to ease the intensity.
