Growing up I remember hearing the old people talk about the ‘good ol’ days.’ They were referring to a pre-ck time known as the 50’s and 60’s. How sad that they couldn’t or wouldn’t move into modern times. I would probably just call them old and out of touch in my head, roll my eyes, and tune out. A vacant stare usually accompanied all this action. Continue reading

Singing in the Rain
It’s no secret I’ve had a rough go this year. For some reason, this year decided to let me know of all my flaws and weaknesses. I get it, I’m not perfect.
But I’m tired of the drama. The other day I heard this song by Simple Plan.
Little Sister
Little sister discovered a fun new game. For her.
Life is like…Super Mario Bros
Life will throw some interesting things at you. Your success in life depends on how well you face those obstacles. Are you going for high score or are you in it to kill the little owl like creatures?
John Williams is da man!

We’re not really going to talk about John Williams. I just wanted to throw a nod to the Star Wars theme maker. It still holds up!
I went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens also known as Star Wars episode 7. However you want to say it. I went to see it because I liked the original Star Wars trilogy. They were the driving force behind me going to the theater to see episode 1, 2, and 3 which were movies 4, 5, and 6. Confusing? Not as confusing as reminding myself while watching episodes 1, 2, and 3 (or movies 4, 5, and 6) that the actors playing the parents weren’t even born when episodes 4, 5, and 6 (or movies 1, 2, and 3) came out which portrayed their character offsprings’ story.
Confused yet?
Back to…TODAY
Ever watched the Back to the Future trilogy? Or spent much time on Facebook recently? If you answered yes to either of those questions then you, no doubt, know today is the day Doc and Marty will arrive as visitors from 1985…and 1955.
Is it or is it not? That is the question
There seems to be a spider infestation in these parts. I’m not the only person to comment on it. Two of my fairly geographically close neighbors have also mentioned it. That makes three which means it is obviously a problem. The other day I saw this ugly fellow (or lady, I shouldn’t assume gender) in my hamper. Mind you I saw it from across the room through the ‘pause’ like design slits. I shouldn’t have been able to see it but I did. Ick. The reason I share all this is for the sole purpose that the next part of the story seems logical, plausible, and definitely not crazy.
