Be careful when you’re with someone who talks about others. If they talk about people they will talk about you, too. If you’re okay with that then proceed – but proceed with caution. Continue reading
If anyone is paying attention there has been a major theme during conference lately. Or maybe the theme has always been there but I’m just now noticing it? Here’s what I’m picking up: it is time to level up, folks.
Here’s a thought for you.
We all know we can’t take anything with us when we die. Despite cultural legends of burials filled with items for the next life, which archaeologists appreciate, we leave our belongings behind. I hope I do both speakers justice in this combination.

I claim no authority or expertise only opinion. Here on some ideas I have thought about concerning teaching as Jesus taught. Continue reading

I once fasted for help in becoming a nice person. The day after I was the orneriest I’ve ever been and the total opposite of a nice person. Perhaps, that is my true self and I just noticed my behavior. At any rate, I’ve dialed down the goal a little bit. Becoming a nice person may be a life long quest but maybe I can learn to just not be mean. Continue reading
