Imagine driving your car on a road trip and discover you are on the wrong road that will take you nowhere near your intended destination. Do you keep driving anyway or do you immediately find a way to turn around and get on the correct road? Of course you turn around and make the necessary adjustments to get to your destination. Why continue on the road that will not take you to your desired destination?
Similar to taking a wrong turn while driving, we should be doing regular simple and honest self-evaluations to ensure our life is on the correct road to take us to our intended destination. If we discover we have taken a wrong turn somewhere along the way today is the day to begin to make the course correction we need. Why continue on the path that will not take you to your desired destination?
