It’s not a new statement here. But it is a good reminder of the chain.
Has Jesus Christ’s church been restored to the earth in these days? Are prophets from God speaking God’s word again? Is this miracle even possible?
Decide for yourself. Read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. If it is the word of God it came by the power of God through Joseph Smith. If Joseph Smith translated the book by the power of God then he was a prophet. If he was a prophet then yes, we have a prophet today. That was a basic summary of the chain but you get the idea.
I believe that reading the Book of Mormon has helped me draw closer to Jesus Christ. It has helped me as I read the Old and New Testaments to see the grand plan of God. Reading the Book of Mormon has pointed my life to Christ.
