Is it just me or was there an emphasis on prayer during the talks on Saturday? Or was that a personal message just for me?
I never had a problem with praying. However, making my prayers more sincere is something I am working on. There are so many things we are asked to do and that we sometimes do faithfully as more of a checklist.
Scriptures? Check.
Church? Check.
Say prayers? Check.
But the trick is to keep our intent sincere. In the words of Shakespeare, “My words fly up, my thoughts remain below: Words without thoughts never to heaven go.”
