“If ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?” Alma 5:26. That’s the goal of life, isn’t it? Once we have started on the path to ‘press forward’ to not become deterred.
I would even say that is one of the major themes or messages of the Book of Mormon. Remember, remember. Do what you can to have daily communion with the Spirit but on those days when you can’t feel, then you have to remember. As we remember, we hold fast to that iron rod and press forward through the mist of darkness.
