Oh, the agony!
I’m in misery!
I grit my teeth –
I can’t breathe.
I don’t think I’ll make it.
I really can’t take it.
The world is closing in.
Darkness is going to win.
I don’t mean to be dramatic
but this day is problematic.
For 18 weeks there’s no alleviating –
Don’t mind me, I’ll be here suffocating.
While the lights above suck the soul out of me.
I really can’t stand the dark and dreary.
When Daylight Saving Time ends I shed a tear.
For me, it is the worst day of the year.
