I really like the song Just Give Me a Reason by Pink and Nate Ruess.
Personally, I like the imagery of “We’re not broken just bent” and the one sided lost love (or is it one sided?). However, as I listened to it I thought that line could also apply to a penitent soul coming to that crux of a changed heart.
Today I thought of a scripture in the Book of Mormon. It is the fatherly advice given by a concerned father to his two sons. They lived in a time when society chose to increasingly separate and distance themselves from the commandments of the Lord. His main advice can be summed up in one word: remember.

Thanks to the stats on WordPress, in January I noticed I was approaching my 1,000th post. That may not seem like a big deal to you but for me it was a humongous deal. See, I kinda have a thing with commitment and follow through. Meaning I tend to not commit and follow through even less.
So I decided to celebrate.
Eve walked in the garden
enjoying the sights all around
when she stopped
and listened
to a very unique sound.

This seemed like the other theme I noticed during the last General Conference. The importance of the Sacrament.
