Christmas is steadfastly rolling in

a time of traditions

tell me, how do you spend it again?

Reading a good story is natural

some stories, perhaps, rereading

how many times for a Christmas Carol?

Maybe you prefer to watch a classic

so, does Die Hard fit or not?

You can determine that demographic.

Of course, a feast must be part of the deal

turkey, prime rib, ham, ravioli

it’s not about the food but the meal.

The company you choose to be around

family, friends, or flying solo

choosing wisely makes good cheer abound.

Don’t forget activities just for fun

outdoor sledding or indoor games

mind you, it doesn’t matter how it’s done.

Top it all off by reading Luke 2

or act out the nativity

just to keep the day relevant to you.
