Words fly around,

everywhere, everywhere,

words to comfort

words to cause hurt

some we hold, some we share.

Don’t assume though,

because it was spoken

words were heard

words were observed

that a notion was opened.

And do not think

just because it was said

words were understood

words were good

when thoughts were elsewhere instead.
