The Language of Love Lost

Grief is a love language.

It is spoken from the heart

and is used to say goodbye

to lost love.

It is the first process to heal after loss.

There are many dialects

rarely do two speak the same vernacular.

For some, it overwhelms.

Its crushing force becomes their master.

Others fight it.

They must retain control even after losing.

Still some hide it.

Ashamed of displaying strong feelings.

And then there are those

who grieve over the grief they do not feel

because their love was not lost

but never was.

No grief is the same

but it is all the

language of lost love.
