Poor Lisa,

her exploits leave us amused

like when

she became a little confused.

Though the

calendar declared a holiday

but forgot

we now work that day.

No one

realized she was not there.

In fact,

at work she was not anywhere.

Instead,

she spent the day at home.

Celebrating

the holiday all alone.

Unknown

until the very next day

she asked,

“How did you spend the holiday?”

Um, what?

We no longer get that perk

we were

all here, slaving away at work.

She laughed,

“I guess I should pay more attention.

While you

worked I took an unintended vacation!”
