It’s nice to help out in grand causes.  There are so many causes needing attention.  But it’s important to help our families and communities. 

Sometimes it is those closest to us that is the hardest to serve.  Not sure why that is but it seems to be some kind of unspoken law somewhere.  Maybe because it doesn’t take as much love to help a stranger as to help our family member.  When we know the person well we let our judgment overshadow our love.
