I hear the wind chimes,

dancing and playing in the wind,

Their song soothes my soul.

My mom loved wind chimes

they reminded her of her youth

when she spent summers

on her grandma’s ranch.

I think the wind chimes song

soothed her soul

because it helped her remember

her grandma’s love.

They were her grandma’s song for her.

Today though,

they help me remember

my momma’s love.

They are her song to me.

I hear the wind chimes,

dancing and playing in the wind,

Their song soothes my soul.
