Excitement in the air –

my team gets to play.

All season long they fought

and made it to the big day.

Finally, they’re back

with near perfect weather.

The stage is now set

it couldn’t get much better.

The house is decorated

with all the orange and blue.

The company is gathered

and the food is good too.

We came prepared to cheer –

we are all good to go.

‘cept one item went missing –

our team forgot to show!
