This seems pretty simple to me. If Christ rose on the third day and is now alive why would He not continue to communicate with us?
He did rise the third day. He is alive in a resurrected body. He does continue to guide us today.

This was the final talk from last conference. It was not only a beautiful tribute but also a gentle reminder. Either we believe there are true prophets of God today or we don’t. But if we do then shouldn’t we listen to them when they speak?
Truly we are a blessed people to have a designated spokesman of the Lord in this day and age. But a prophet is only to raise a voice of warning. It’s up to each of us to hearken – to listen and obey.
