Just how long have the Fast and Furious movies been around?

When the old ‘uns play the young ‘uns games
This is why I decided to try the Facebook game called “TBH.”
I suffered from writer’s block.
1,000 posts
Thanks to the stats on WordPress, in January I noticed I was approaching my 1,000th post. That may not seem like a big deal to you but for me it was a humongous deal. See, I kinda have a thing with commitment and follow through. Meaning I tend to not commit and follow through even less.
So I decided to celebrate.
Tiny homes, uh, no thanks!
The newest trend is to own a tiny home. Or that’s what the internet would have you believe.
Temples visited 2014
I actually accomplished a new year resolution from 2014. Thanks to my home teacher, I set a goal to attend the temple once a month.
My Grateful List
Last month, my sister NJ challenged me on Facebook to do one of those “… a day” posts. You know, when you are supposed to post something daily regarding a certain theme. For this one, my task was to list three things a day I’m grateful for. Even though I tend to be on FB daily (shhh), I don’t like having to come up with something theme related every day. So, I did it in one big chunk. And since it fit with this week’s theme and since I have nothing else ready for today, I’m sharing it here with you also. Like the idea and want to do your own list? Go right ahead.
Most remote high school football team in the country
I found this video clip on MSN. For the most part, I just like the coach’s attitude. But I also like the glimpse into another culture – the cold culture.
Brrr.
Some commercials
Let’s take a moment and look at some commercials, shall we? Because some networks think we can’t get enough of them in a given period of time (looking at you FX, ABC Family, actually all channels that rely on sponsors to fund their checks).
We’ll start with the nightmare-inducing-chill-igniting Toaster Strudel commercials. In all its incarnations that kid creeps me out.
How about the commercial that tries to be as clever as the original but the now popular tagline just isn’t the same. That’s not how it works.
Here’s for all those that use classic songs.

How about the one that brings a smile? “Why can’t we just get in the running car?” “Are you crazy?”
And finally, how about the commercial with the catchiest jingle. How catchy? After watching this little spot you may find yourself singing the song.
Donations
I have to admit, I hoped I wouldn’t get challenged. I watched as people poured ice cold water on themselves and wondered, ‘wouldn’t it be better to just donate?’ But, my sister NJ nominated me. So I cheated.
While I agree ALS is a worthwhile charity to donate to, I also like to point out a couple of other charities near and dear to my heart.
