The other day

I felt unease because I could not sneeze

but I could not

for that dang sneeze surely decided to freeze.

I can’t prove it

but trust me, that sneeze was a bit of a tease.

I tried to force

that stubborn sneeze, even my nose I did squeeze.

That didn’t help.

For that shy sneeze I begged and asked pretty please.

Nothing would work

until the sneeze was good and ready.  Oh, jeez!
