Just some friendly device

While preparing for the Reba concert in March I attempted to prepare the three youngest concert goers in our group with a series of videos. However, I wanted to make one thing clear about the songs. While I am a fan, I do not endorse every Reba song message. Case in point: Whoever’s In New England. Sure, I sing along with it but it makes me cringe.

I just wanted my three grand-nieces to understand that even though I probably would sing along with the song at the concert that is not the message I wanted them to walk away with. If they had to walk away with any broken-relationship song after the concert I preferred they took something like Going Out Like That.

You know though, when you share unsolicited advice you are never sure if it is going to hit the target. Maybe the listeners aren’t listening. Or maybe they are rolling their eyes because what would I know about all this?

It doesn’t stop me from sharing though.

Berk did send a video message back thanking me for my “device.” Which, of course, I loved and counted it as a point.
