An angel came to visit today

but I was too busy to chat.

So the angel parted

and left just like that. 

 

I wondered why no blessings came

that I could ever see.

The angel whispered, “Perhaps,

if you would make time for me.”

 

When heaven comes knocking

be sure to answer the door.

Or else you might lose your chance

and wish you made time for more.
