Princess Shirley Whinesalot
is no joy to be around.
She finds fault in all
and brings everything down.

Every little thing
is a catastrophe.
I think complaining
is what makes her happy.

There are problems
without a silver lining,
but to harp on them
is annoying whining.

Note to self:
if I can’t offer a Plan B
or a solution
don’t bring it up endlessly.

I hope I learn this lesson
from her example so well taught –
not to become the next
Princess Shirley Whinesalot.
