“My soul delighteth in the scriptures…my heart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard” (2 Nephi 4:15-16). Nephi wrote those words while summing up his trials.
For the Sunday School lessons, I read my mom’s last set of scriptures. In the margin next to verse 15 she wrote “Me too!”
To be able to say our souls delight in the scriptures, we need to invest time into reading them. Reading, studying, feasting. It’s the standard answer given during classes on Sunday because there is no better answer. It is the standard to which we should be living up to.
