My goal for this year is to become a wise steward and quit trying to be an owner. I have got to remember whose work this is and it is not my work.
Much like the steward who was only given one talent and instead of doing what the Master of the Vineyard wanted, he took it upon himself to go and bury the talent. His actions were not commendable or acceptable. I don’t want to be that steward.
The trick is to learn how to serve with all our hearts yet being able to let go of the control. A great trick indeed.
