Funny thing, when I watched conference in April I thought the main theme had to do with gaining, nurturing, and preserving my testimony.
And that was a prevalent theme.
But so was the importance of family. Families are the most fundamental building block society has to offer. In other words, “No other success can compensate for failure in the home” David O. McKay
UPDATE: I prepared this post a week prior to publication. It is with great sadness to note that Elder Perry passed away yesterday at the age of 92. A man known for his enthusiasm and even Wyoming connection (his wife) he will be missed. My prayers go to his family at this time. Thank you Elder Perry for your lifetime of devoted service!
