Over a month ago I shared a Christmas invitation. Something I was doing personally that I thought others might enjoy. Every day for over a month I have been spending 20 minutes going through the different subject headings in the Topical Guide for Jesus Christ. It is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints edition of the Holy Bible.
Originally my goal was to do this until Christmas. A special way to bring Christ into Christmas. However, since there is so much to look at and read I am only about halfway through my quest. So, Easter it is. It has now become an Easter invitation.
I am enjoying reading and pondering the verses one subject at a time. My fairly new set of scriptures is becoming marked and highlighted. I am writing my own cross references in and even referencing conference talks. All done the old fashioned way, I might add. No convenient digital forms for this project.
I highly recommend – or re-recommend as the case might be – anyone and everyone to accept this invitation.
