When you look down

And see your patch of brown

You may wish your ground

Was a different hue.

Like your neighbor’s green

Whose yard always looks pristine

You have never seen

A different view.

Ignore the green lawn

Give heed to the brown you’re on

Water it before it’s gone

And your grass will be green, too.
