Have you ever thought – oh, dang!

When a word pops up everywhere

but how did it even get there?

A word can explode with a bang

when it slips right into slang.

Maybe one or two will espouse

and join me as we denounce –

since the true meaning is lost

and hearing it now exhausts –

limit saying “in my wheelhouse.”
