I have to cough but I can’t

because I am not at home.

So, I will fight it and

turn red in the face

until I can hack all alone.

Coughing used to be a nuisance

but now it is more of a crime.

Unless, of course, you are choking

which is acceptable

and heroes will make sure you’re fine.

But if you should get a tickle

in the throat while out and about

it will not end well for you.

Just saying, if looks could kill

you’d already be dead no doubt.
