In the morning, I ask my body:
“Are you well today?”
“Well enough,” comes the reply.
“How about you, head and stomach?”
“All systems working,” they reply.
“Ears, nose, and throat?”
“All clear.”
“Then why am I not up to facing the day?” I ask.
“Oh,” the brain responds, “that is only a matter of the heart.”
