I think my house is haunted

by a ghost or maybe two.

They seem to think the sleep hours

are the best hours to boo!

 

Now, I don’t mind the daylight visits

when they are viewed as a bit merry.

But in the dark, sleeping hours

their hijinks are processed as a bit scary.

 

So, please my active little ghosts,

you may have forgotten since you’re dead,

do what you need to do during the day

but nighttime is quiet time to go to bed.
