Until recently, this has been a fairly abstract assignment. Sure, I’ve always known people who could benefit from the gospel. There are always opportunities for missionary work. I’ve tried to reach out to co-workers, visiting teaching sisters, and others under my stewardship.
But when a dear friend of mine turned her back on not only the gospel but also me, that hurt. I grieved for my friend who decided I did fit into her new lifestyle. What can I do? I will wait. I will always love my friend so I will wait until she realizes I am not judging her. I just want to continue our friendship.
I will wait.
