Every night

I review my day.

Every step

along the way.

My one goal

is to show Christ’s love

help others see

the best path leads above.

If I choose

to be known by His name

then my deeds

should reflect the same.

My one fear

is that my flaws shine through

dumb actions

and I block the view.

My desire is

to always be a stepping stone

reality is

sometimes I am a stumbling stone.

Please forgive me

if I do not live up to

all those things that

I profess to be true.
