Choices come at us every day
that is just the way life goes
decisions cause ebbs and flows.
Our state of mind does much to sway
on how much each choice may weigh.
Decisions made in fear or pain
may need to be thought out again.
Choices rooted in buried pride
or ignorance may be misapplied.
Each of those may be hard to sustain.
