The cross is too heavy

for the old church to bear.

It must be removed at once.

It can no longer be there.

Before you complain and grumble

there are some things you should know.

The damage from leaks is extensive.

So, even with sad hearts it must go.

Let that be a lesson for all.

For your cross too heavy to bear,

as difficult as it may seem,

it does not need to remain there.

A heavy cross becomes a

burden that tires and exhausts.

So, learn to give it to the One

who died on Calvary’s Cross.
