When the evening

gives a pink glow it’s clear

the sunset

is growing near.

The day will end

with a beautiful sight

and say goodbye

just for the night.

I wonder if we

get a chance to shine

a similar final light

a soft pink hue so fine.

All life comes to an end

there is no doubt about it

all will say goodbye

but just for a bit.
